Donate Items or Goods
DCRC maintains a wish list of all the things needed on an on-going basis. If you would like to donate any of the following new items listed below, please drop them off at Pennies for Change, our thrift store, located at 2715 Chapel Hill Blvd. near Guglhupf.
Donate a Cell Phone
Do you have an old cell phone you are no longer using? Donate it to DCRC and it could save someone’s life. Cell phones can be used to dial 911 in an emergency, whether or not they are activated. If you have a cell phone that has been cleared of all information and unlocked, please drop it off at the DCRC main office or penniesforCHANGE, with its charger.
All donations are tax-deductible.

Donate Goods or Services
The DCRC shelter houses over two hundred women and children every year, requiring lots of odds and ends to keep the household running. DCRC relies on gifts from the community to make stays at the shelter as comfortable as possible.
Professional services, such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, landscaping and more, are extremely helpful and allow us to provide more services directly to clients. If you can mow the grass, fix a leaky sink or handle a hammer, we have a job for you. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
